Our Fairtrade products are made with pure Fairtrade cotton grown in Mali and Burkina Faso by small co-operatives of farmers. Fairtrade ensures that producers receive a fair price and a sustainable and reliable living for themselves and their families. In addition to the Fairtrade premium, a social fund is made available which is used to benefit the wider community and is used on projects such as building a school or a well.

We believe that buying Fairtrade is the best long term solution to unethical trade practices and our products are as high a quality as those on the high street and at a competitive price. Our beautiful linens make perfect Fairtrade gifts for yourself or someone special and we believe you will be making the right choice too.

We started Oxton Cotton in 2006 because we were having trouble sourcing stylish and classical Fairtrade linens when setting up our new home. We made the conscious decision to source all of our products from West Africa where the cotton industry is extremely important and one of the few ways people can lift themselves out of poverty.
