Q. What can I create a gift list for?
A. You can create a gift list with oxton cotton for any reason - whether a wedding,
birthday, anniversary or other special occasion for which people might buy you a gift.
Q. How does it work?
A. You create a gift list using the appropriate link and set some simple options.
Then you just need to browse our items and choose what you would like to add to your gift list (including quantities).
Q. Can I add a certain item more than once?
A. Yes, you can add each product as many times as you like. This allows you to break larger gifts down into smaller chunks.
Q. When someone buys me something from my gift list, can they send me a message?
A. Yes, when someone buys a gift which is sent directly to you, they can choose to add a message which will be printed out on a card and included with the gift.
Q. When should I create my list?
A. The earlier the better - you can set start and end dates for the list to run.
Q. Can I add or change items later?
A. Yes - until the list closure date, you can always add to your list and amend the quantities of any items
not already purchased.
Q. How do people order from my gift list?
A. It couldn't be simpler - just give your friends your gift list ID and then they can call us to purchase an item or buy online by searching for your list on our gift list pages.
Q. What is the charge for delivery?
A. You can choose to have each gift dispatched on purchase. In this case, each of your
friends will be charged £4.95 postage. Otherwise, you can choose to have all your items dispatched when
the list closes and each of your friends will instead be charged £2.50 postage.
