When you place an order through the secure part of our website, we will require your name, email address, credit/debit card number and card expiry date. We also ask for a contact telephone number so that we may contact you urgently if there is a problem with your order. Without this information we will not be able to process your request or notify you of acceptance of your order.

We take all possible precautions to keep this information secure and prevent any unauthorised access or unlawful use of it. All personal information is processed in accordance with the standards, procedures and requirements laid down in the Data Protection Act 1998 to ensure that your information is kept secure and processed fairly and lawfully.

If you have supplied your email address, we may send you emails from time to time to keep you updated about our product range. If you would prefer not to receive these emails, they can easily be stopped by following the instructions contained within the emails or simply by calling us on 0151 652 3526.

Here at oxton cotton, the security of your details is paramount to us. We also know that security can be a cause for concern among our customers. We have therefore put rigorous systems in place to protect your details, so that you can enjoy worry-free shopping with us.

We do not store credit or debit card details at all. However you order, your card details are only entered when an order is finalised so that your card-issuer can approve those details. This data is not stored and is always passed over what is known as a "128 bit securely encrypted connection" - the industry standard for transmitting sensitive data. As soon as the payment has been approved and validated, your card details are deleted. This means that you will need to repeat your card details every time you place an order with us but we are sure you will agree this is a small price to pay for peace of mind.
